| Keegan baffled by Newcastle ‘collapse’ |
| If he was then he’s a bigger idiot than I thought. We were abject. No leadership, no aggression, no passion. Utter wakners, the lot of them – him included.
Don’t blame bad luck. With Carr on at left back from the start – a Roeder tactic – it was just a disaster waiting to happen. Villa were awful in the first half. They were booed off at half- time. But their Mackem mincer manager had the balls to haul off two under-performing big names and change their shape a little. |

| Keegan stuck with the disastrous Carr, and Barton – perhaps on the basis we were winning one-nil and they were struggling. Then the roof came in again. The inept core of the team - Barton, Smith, Owen, and Taylor – did not show up in the 2nd half. Keegan tried to change it a 1-3 down – with advice no doubt from inspirational Terry McDermott. Think about that for a moment - even we think he’s a laughing stock.
Mark my words – the pressure will cook him – and it looks to me as if he’s a caretaker. With Man Ure next, and no doubt Ferguson’s looking to make a point for his mate Big Sam, is another dicking on the cards? Make sure you turn up – KK may not be around for long. |
